Thank you to the people that have registered to my blog.

As I am a wordpress novice I have yet to learn the bells and whistles. Let alone the theme changing. Which I am sooo ready to do.

This year really started off with a bang didn’t it? A new president that is black or African American or Indonesian or all of the above. Either way it was a first. “Yes we can!” was his pitch and ‘yes he did’ get voted in.

He did one thing he said he would. He stopped all trials at Guantanamo Bay and ordered for its closure. Hooray! For liberty.

Well up here in North America I think we are on our 15th shooting in two weeks (According to The Sun Newspaper). Yehaaa! We too are the wild west just like our American brothers and sisters.

I liked contraversal Michael Moores take on violence. After the Columbine High School shooting spree he went to ‘Lockheed Martin’ The worlds largest weapons Maker. He interviewed the PR in the town that employees many of the parents to the kids in Columbine High. The rep had no idea why the children had resorted to violence.

??????

At this point you want to beat your head with a stale piece of bread. How we raise children is how they act. No?

In any case Obama has now gone back on his word and deployed 17,000 soldiers to Afghanistan. Yes he can!

I didn’t want to believe it myself but we are all being touched by a harsher economic climate and as a result I truly believe people are suffering.

I witnessed the tail end of a suicide at my sky train station yesterday and if it wasn’t for a person who commented on the recent amount of death in Vancouver I would had just have brushed it off as the usual.

Not to be cruel but a lot of people seem drawn to that sky train stop and Main ST, for life’s end. I am not too sure if it is for the exposure or in general the demographic is on average poorer (therefore may find life sucks more)?

If anything it re-enforced my belief that we need a stronger health care system. No only in medication but in human concern.

I know doctors are cut and dry types these days and aren’t prone to midnight calls like they used too. However I really think a new branch of government funded alternative health care is needed for what is about to be a rash of very depressed people. (A) because they lost their job (B) Because they have one and are barely managing mentally, physically, spiritually. (C) Why the hell not - exotic health care for all!

But hey, it isn’t all doom and gloom Mc Donald’s has Double Cheese Burgers for just $1.39 and thats ok with me.
